In the first phase of IS101-3210, I did not do well. I struggled with how overwhelming the workload seemed. I have a pretty demanding schedule, which makes it difficult to keep track of assignments. I will keep better track of assignments with my to-do list now. I'm thankful I was able to catch up with things near the end.
I chose 4.7.5 Word Illustration Facts. My experience with this originates from my former high school assignments. I would do things such as adding borders to illustrations, resize, and etcetera. These additions were mostly because it was a requirement, or I wanted it to look more put-together. My teachers were usually happy about creative choices.
Preparing for the MO-110 Word certification exam involved plenty of studying. I was studying all day. I used the resources provided by Canvas. I did the practice exam multiple times. I was also catching up with assignments while studying. I took a while to finish the exam, but I was able to turn it in before the timer was up. I am glad I passed the exam.
The longer I am in this class, the more I've learned. If it were not for IS 101, I would've never figured Microsoft Word out so quickly. I am glad to get this opportunity to learn.
